Worms are unavoidable and highly noxious horse parasites. The horse wormer must therefore prevent the presence of these worms that drawn upon the horse's resources for their own development, thus depriving the horse of vital nutrients. In the event of an infection, the horse's health and performance deteriorate rapidly. As horses are increasingly stout, a horse wormer for body weights up to 700 kg live weight should be used.
The frequency of horse wormer use should be defined according to the horse's age, living conditions (field or box) and activity. Ask you vet for advice in determining the horse wormer programme best suited to your animal.
