A horse owes its digestion to its resident intestinal microbial flora. The provision of horse yeast stimulates beneficial groups of bacteria during digestion, thus improving uptake. Yea Sacc horse yeast is the first yeast product to be entered onto the list of authorised horse additives in the European Union and whose efficacy has been scientifically demonstrated. We recommend the use of BIO YEA SACC, an additive containing horse yeast to optimize digestion and to increase ration energy availability. For broodmares, horse yeasts such as YEA SACC serve to improve milk quality.
