From design to distribution and throughout the manufacturing of our products, our main concern and primary ambition is to meet your expectations. Systematic quality control, total product traceability-nothing is left to chance when it comes to your peace of mind and the best possible health care for your horses.

Operational excellence

Audevard guarantees the operational excellence of a Veterinary Pharmaceutical Establishment which extends to the production of nutritional supplements.
Adherence to established standards allows us to ensure:

  • Total traceability of the ingredients used and of each batch manufactured,
  • Optimal conditions for manufacture.

Respect for the environment

Because we care about the environment, we guarantee the absence of GMO’s and preservatives. Our products are 100% about Health.

Product efficacy

The efficacy of our products is guaranteed since:

  • Horses’ health problems are addressed as a whole in order to ensure true long-term product efficacy.
  • All Audevard formulations are developed by veterinarians and nutritionists specialized in equine health.
  • The ingredients used are similar to those used in the pharmaceutical industry and in human dietetics.
    • Vitamins are preserved during the manufacturing process:
    • Cold granulation of vitamins
    • Separate granulation of vitamins and minerals
Vitamins are by nature unstable. This is why it is mandatory to use a process of cold, separate granulation such that their active principals are left intact.

Anti-doping security

This seal guarantees:

  • that tests to detect the presence of possible doping contaminants were carried out by LCH.
Each AUDEVARD product bearing the LCH seal has thus been systematically analysed.

What procedure is followed?
  1. Immediately following manufacture, each batch is placed in pharmaceutical quarantine.
  2. A random sample is taken, according to Good Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Practice, and sent in a coded fashion to LCH.
  3. LCH tests for the presence of substances prohibited in competition and returns an analytical report:
    • if doping contaminants are identified, the batch is destroyed;
    • if no doping contaminants are found, the batch is released and put on the market.

You may access these LCH analytical reports at any time by indicating the product name and batch number.

Why analyse a product whose ingredients are known?

In spite of all the precautions taken during manufacture and in spite of the vigilance of our suppliers, it is not possible to completely guarantee the absence of doping contaminants throughout the supply chain. For example, proximity to other plant materials such as cocoa beans or coffee beans, which contain xanthines (theophyline or theobromine), could introduce cross reacting contaminants. The risk is very remote but must be taken into consideration. In this situation, even negligible quantities of contaminants could result in a horse testing positive in an anti-doping control.

This is why analysis of each batch of manufactured product by LCH is necessary.

AUDEVARD is the first veterinary pharmaceutical laboratory in the world to systematically test each manufactured batch with the LCH in order to detect doping contaminants..
