Ekygard Flash

Occasional digestive support

In horses, the gastric mucosa is often affected by the highly acidic environment of the stomach, particularly during exercise or when the animal is stressed. Acidity may affect the horse’s quality of life, its ability to absorb food and, of course, its performance. These critical periods therefore require specific nutritional support.

EKYGARD FLASH is a nutrional support formulated by AUDEVARD Laboratories. It is designed to provide nutritional support for horses with temporary gastric problems.

The EKYGARD FLASH formula contains bicarbonates known to create a buffer effect, Althaea officinalis and hyaluronic acid, a natural connective tissue component

What users say...

EKYGARD FLASH users like the fact that it comes as a gel, which is easy to give to horses with feeding difficulties and can be alternated with the pellet form. Users also like its single-use format, which is transportable and practical to have on hand when on the road or during competitions.

Our advice

Plan ahead for acidity peaks, including during transportation and competitions, and when the horse is on medication. Give EKYGARD Flash once or twice a day before and/or after the acidity peak.
